TideTracker
Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Viking Media & Software when you use TideTracker. This is the End User Licence Agreement linked from the app's purchase screen.
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. TideTracker is not medical advice
Read this first. TideTracker is a record-keeping tool. It lets you write down what you have taken, when, and what you have measured. That is all it does.
- It is not a medical device and has not been evaluated or approved by any medicines or medical device regulator.
- It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
- It never recommends a compound, a dose, a schedule or a source. There is no dose database in the app and nothing is pre-filled for you.
- The reconstitution calculator works only on numbers you enter yourself — the mass printed on your own vial and the diluent you added — and reports the resulting volume. It is arithmetic, not a suggestion.
- It draws no correlations and no causal conclusions. Dose and measurement timelines are shown on a shared axis and nothing more. The app will not tell you that a compound caused an outcome, because a single uncontrolled series cannot support that claim.
- There are no vendor links, no affiliate links, no marketplace and no purchase guidance anywhere in the app, and there never will be.
- Many peptides are not approved for human use, and their legal status varies by country. Establishing what is lawful and appropriate where you live is your responsibility, not the app's.
- Recording something in TideTracker does not make it safe.
Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping anything. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you saw in this app. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
You accept this disclaimer when you first launch the app, and it remains available at any time in Settings › About › Important safety information.
2. Who we are
TideTracker is published by Viking Media & Software ("we", "us", "our"), an independent studio that builds and publishes its own software. You can reach us at any time at [email protected].
3. Accepting these terms
By downloading, installing or using TideTracker (the "App") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you buy TideTracker Pro, these Terms continue to apply for as long as you hold it.
4. Age
You must be 17 or older to use TideTracker. The App is rated 17+, and on first launch you confirm you meet that age before any data can be entered. The App is not designed for or directed at anyone younger.
5. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store's rules and any Family Sharing arrangement you use. We license the App to you; we do not sell it.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell or sublicense the App, except where the law says such a restriction cannot apply.
6. What TideTracker does for free
A substantial part of the App is free permanently, with no subscription and no account:
- Reconstitution calculator and syringe view
- Full inventory, including blends and beyond-use dates
- One protocol, with titration and cycles
- Unlimited dose logging and site rotation
- Reminders and low-stock alerts
- Export of everything you have recorded
Dose logging and export are deliberately never limited. Your records are yours, and you should be able to get them out whether or not you pay us.
7. TideTracker Pro
TideTracker Pro adds:
- Unlimited protocols
- Complete history (the free tier shows the last 30 days)
- Advanced analytics
- Progress photos and photo comparison
- Cycle history
- Apple Health import
- Home-screen widget and Live Activity
There are two ways to buy it, and they behave very differently:
- Lifetime — US$39.99, one time. A single non-consumable purchase. It does not renew, ever. There is no free trial on the lifetime option, because Apple's introductory offers exist only for subscriptions.
- Monthly — US$14.99 per month. An auto-renewable subscription, with a one-week free trial for new subscribers, available once per Apple ID.
Both options support Family Sharing. Prices shown here are US prices; the App Store converts and localises them for each storefront, so the current price for you is always displayed on the purchase screen before you confirm.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. We do not process payments and never see your card details.
8. Renewal and cancellation
This section applies to the monthly subscription only. The lifetime purchase never renews and cannot be cancelled, because there is nothing recurring to cancel.
- The subscription renews automatically each month unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings, not through us. The App links you straight there.
- Cancelling during the free trial means you are not charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts into a paid monthly subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription outright during it.
- If a price changes, we will give notice as Apple and the law require, and an increase will not take effect until you have had the opportunity to cancel.
9. If your subscription ends
Nothing is deleted, hidden or held hostage. This is a commitment, not just current behaviour:
- Your progress photos stay viewable and exportable.
- Your logged doses stay in your log.
- Protocols you created while subscribed keep running and keep reminding you.
- Export stays free, always.
What stops is creating new Pro-tier material. We do not believe in taking away records you already made because a payment lapsed.
10. Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are governed by Apple's policy and requests go to Apple rather than to us. Nothing here affects any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right you have as a consumer. If something has gone wrong with the App, email us anyway and we will help where we can.
11. Your data and export
Everything you record stays on your iPhone. There is no account and no server of ours. We cannot see your records, and we cannot recover them if your device is lost without a backup. The detail is in the TideTracker Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Because we hold nothing, keeping your own copies is up to you. Settings › Export as JSON produces a plain, readable file of your vials, protocols, doses, measurements and photo timeline; photo images export separately into a Photos album. Export is free at all times.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App unlawfully, or to record activity that is unlawful where you are;
- present the App, or anything in it, as medical advice to anyone else;
- use the App to promote, market or supply any substance to others;
- interfere with the App or attempt to circumvent purchase or access controls; or
- upload or introduce malicious code.
13. Intellectual property
The App, its name, design, artwork and code belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you no rights in them beyond the licence in section 5. Everything you record in the App remains entirely yours — we claim no licence over it, which is straightforward given we never receive it.
14. Availability and changes
We aim to keep TideTracker working and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, and we may discontinue the App. Because the App runs entirely on your device, a discontinued version keeps working for as long as your device and iOS support it, and your export remains available.
15. Disclaimers
Except where the law provides otherwise, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that your records will be preserved without loss. The App is not a clinical record and must not be relied on as one. Keep your own backups and exports.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for TideTracker in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Decisions about substances you take are yours and your clinician's. The App records them; it does not make them.
17. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it, and cancel any subscription in your Apple ID settings. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 1, 13, 15, 16 and 20 survive termination.
18. Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government restricted-parties list.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and for material changes we will notify you in the App where we reasonably can.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which Viking Media & Software is established, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
21. Contact
